Sources: Man Utd revive interest in second keeper after Andre Onana, with top choice revealed to be Yann Sommer

Man Utd want Yann Sommer to be the backup to Andre Onana in goal
Manchester United maintain an interest in Switzerland international goalkeeper Yann Sommer, TEAMtalk understands.
Man Utd are pushing hard to finalise a deal for Andre Onana, with David De Gea set to depart after his contract ended. Onana has become the top target for Erik ten Hag, who used to manage him at Ajax.
Reports on Wednesday claimed Man Utd had failed with a new offer for Onana. Inter are holding out for a fee of €60m (£51m) to let go of the goalkeeper.
But Man Utd are likely to keep up the pressure in their pursuit of the 27-year-old, which would put an end to the De Gea era in between the sticks at Old Trafford.
With Dean Henderson also on his way back to Nottingham Forest after spending last season at the City Ground on loan, while Martin Dubravka and then Jack Butland were on loan at Old Trafford as cover for De Gea, Man Utd are still keen on more options to back-up future number one Onana.
In that regard, TEAMtalk understands their first choice is Sommer.
Sommer is a player Man Utd have liked for a long time and they think the 34-year-old is ideal to come in this summer.
Sommer, though, does have a year left on his current deal with Bayern Munich – but it is believed they would be open to a deal.
Bayern took Sommer from fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach in January after an injury to their own regular starter, Manuel Neuer.
Sommer went on to make 25 appearances for his new club, conceding just 31 goals as they retained their Bundesliga title.
