Man Utd transfers: Erik ten Hag with tough decision to make as suitors triple for outcast after West Ham news

Manchester United are set to hold talks with Anthony Martial over his future as two more clubs join West Ham in expressing an interest in the striker.
The 27-year-old has played eight seasons at Old Trafford after moving from Monaco in 2015. The France international has scored 88 goals from 298 appearances in all competitions. However, his lengthy United stay could not be qualified as a complete success.
Injuries have thwarted his progress at times while he has never been as prolific in front of goal as hoped.
Only once has the man from the Paris suburbs bagged more than 11 goals in a Premier League season.
And he is once again out of action due to injury, having failed to play any part in pre-season.
There have been mixed messages coming out of the north-west giants involving Martial’s future.
It was felt he was almost certain to leave as part of Erik ten Hag’s summer clear out.
However, a recent report suggested the Dutch tactician wants to keep the former Lyon player.
Rasmus Hojlund has now signed up but is not considered the finished article.

Therefore the manager wants to keep the experience of Martial at the club to help him settle in. But Alex Crook of talkSPORT weighed into the debate on Saturday.
He suggested that West Ham have ‘registered their interest’ and are being kept informed of proceedings by the United hierarchy.
There are still a few weeks of the summer window to go before it closes and so plenty of time for Martial to be sold. And he may have a few more suitors than first thought.
Three clubs with eyes on Martial
West Ham’s interest is obvious as David Moyes is desperate to add a goal scorer to his ranks.
They scored just 42 top-flight goals last term, finishing 14th in the standings.
But the Hammers face competition from Inter Milan and Turkish giants Fenerbahce, according to The Sun.
Inter reached the Champions League final where they lost to Manchester City. And they have also said goodbye to Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international has returned to Chelsea from his San Siro loan and been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.
The Nerazzurri have also parted company with ex-Manchester City hitman Edin Dzeko. And so Simone Inzaghi is looking for a player to fill the void
Whether that man is Martial only time will tell but it is claimed talks with the player’s representatives will soon begin.
It has been a summer of exits at a number of high-profile English clubs. Chelsea and Liverpool have both jettisoned many stars.
And Manchester United have seen David de Gea, Alex Telles, Fred, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Elanga depart the Theatre of Dreams.
Harry Maguire might also be leaving while there is interest in Scott McTominay. It is by no means certain that Martial will be added to the list of those who have quit United.
But his fitness issues and lack of productivity beg the question whether Ten Hag would be better off without him in the ranks.
