Transfer Gossip: Man Utd star’s permanent exit in doubt after fresh £30m-plus fee claim; Chelsea want Frankfurt starlet

A permanent exit for a Manchester United star is in doubt after a fresh price tag claim, while Chelsea eye an Eintracht Frankfurt talent – both in all the latest Transfer Gossip.
DEAN HENDERSON PERMANENT EXIT DOUBTFUL
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is more likely to leave on loan this summer amid fresh claims about his price tag, according to a report.
The 25-year-old showed great promise on loan at Sheffield United in 2019/20, his first season as a Premier League stopper. As a result, he returned to Old Trafford and earned a bumper new contract.
Since then, though, David de Gea has kept his place as United’s No. 1, leaving Henderson frustrated.
In fact, the Englishman has only played three first-team games for Man Utd this season and none in the top flight.
As such, Newcastle have reportedly stepped up their interest in a permanent move for Henderson.
According to the latest from The Telegraph, though, a loan move for the stopper looks more likely.
Indeed, the report claims that Henderson could cost more than £30million this summer. He has three years left on his contract and earns £110,000 per week at Old Trafford.

Newcastle eager to sign Dean Henderson from Manchester United
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is one of Newcastle United’s main targets this summer and they want to push the deal through early
That price tag claim comes after the earlier report about Newcastle’s interest said he could cost around £20million.
The Telegraph adds that Man Utd have yet to receive a formal approach from the Magpies for Henderson.
Incoming United boss Erik ten Hag has a decision to make about both Henderson and De Gea’s long-term futures.
CHELSEA WANT EINTRACHT FRANKFURT STAR
Eintracht Frankfurt talent Luka Hyrylainen has emerged as a firm Chelsea summer target, a report has claimed.
The Blues are planning for life after their Todd Boehly-led takeover, which is set to get the green light.
The new ownership will remove the current transfer ban on the club following sanctions on previous owner Roman Abramovich.
While Chelsea are after top first-team additions such as Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, The Sun reports their transfer chase for Frankfurt youngster Hyrylainen.
The 17-year-old is currently starring for the German club’s Under-19s side and has caught the Stamford Bridge club’s eye.
While Hyrylainen is a defensive midfielder by trade, he has chipped in with two goals and three assists in 17 games this season.
Chelsea subsequently want to snap him up when he turns 18 in mid-August. However, Hyrylainen also reportedly has admirers from several ‘top European clubs’.
Nevertheless, he has one year left on his contract with Wednesday’s Europa League finalists and so his future looks like it will be away from Frankfurt.
TRANSFER GOSSIP – LEICESTER WANT FRESH LOOKMAN DEAL
Leicester are reportedly readying a £14million bid to try to keep RB Leipzig loanee Ademola Lookman.
Nigeria international Lookman has proved a key asset to manager Brendan Rodgers this season.
He has scored six goals in 25 Premier League games, including the winner over Liverpool in one of three defeats in all competitions for the Reds this season.
Leipzig are willing to let Lookman go, but have demanded £14million from Leicester as he has two years left on his contract.
And Rodgers, who sees the 24-year-old as a key part of his Leicester rebuild, wants his club to tie the player to a permanent deal.
