Manchester United are considering an approach for a Juventus star after being given a big chance to secure his signing, a Real Madrid star has indicated he would like to play for Arsenal, while Sunday’s Transfer Gossip claims Chelsea and Barcelona could swap players.

DUSAN VLAHOVIC WANTS TO JOIN MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United are giving serious consideration to signing Dusan Vlahovic amid claims he has made clear his wish to move.

The Red Devils are operating with a limited transfer budget this month after Erik ten Hag splashed out £216m during the summer. As such, United have so far only managed to sign Jack Butland and Wout Weghorst so far.

However, while they are likely to keep their powder dry for the summer market, Ten Hag is keeping an open mind. Indeed, the Dutchman says that if the chance to strengthen United’s squad emerges, then they will take it.

“As Manchester United, always you have to look for solutions and look for better [players] and that’s what we will do,” he said. “We will be doing our research and if there are opportunities, then we will have to go for it.”

And with Ten Hag making it one of his priorities to sign a new big-name striker in 2023, it seems a golden opportunity has presented itself their way.

Per 90min, United are one of five sides who have been offered the chance to sign Vlahovic. The Juventus striker has struggled with injury issues this season, though still has six goals from 10 Serie A outings.

Juventus transfer chance on for Man Utd

However, Juventus on Friday were docked 15 points following an investigation into their transfer dealings. That has seen them drop from the Champions League places down to 10th – and with almost no chance to securing European football next season.

And while the club plan to appeal, failure to have that overturned will likely lead to a number of big-name departures.

First through the exit door may well be Vlahovic. He cost the Bianconeri £65m when signing from Fiorentina last January.

He has 16 goals in 36 appearances for Juve, proving he knows his way to goal. However, he has never quite settled and he’s once again being strongly linked with a move to the Premier League.

And amid claims he can leave for around £71m, the report says he has been offered to five clubs. Indeed, Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are the other sides alerted.

But the Daily Express claims he is pushing to sign for Man Utd. They are the striker’s No 1 choice and he wants to move there ahead of all others.

That presents Ten Hag with a huge opportunity to fill their striker void for the long-term and a move to sign him is now under consideration.

EDUARDO CAMAVINGA DROPS ARSENAL TRANSFER HINT

Arsenal seemingly have the green light to pursue a deal for Eduardo Camavinga after a hint from the midfielder on social media.

The Gunners have recently signed Leandro Trossard to bolster their attacking options for the run-in.

But Mikel Arteta now wants a midfielder to provide cover and competition for Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.

A host of names have been linked, though Arsenal have either hit a dead end or found summer moves are more likely.

However, a solution may well present itself by making a move to sign Camavinga on loan.

The 20-year-old has struggled for consistent minutes at the Bernabeu this season, having arrived in a big-money move from Rennes in 2021.

Indeed, competition for places is hugely tough in Real’s midfield with Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federic Valverde among their options.

As such, Camavinga has just five starts in LaLiga to his name this season.

That has led to speculation suggesting a loan move to the Gunners could be on the cards. And while Fabrizio Romano has moved to play down the speculation, the midfielder himself is adding a bit of fuel to the fire.

That’s after an Arsenal-themed account on Instagram posted an article claiming the Gunners were keen to sign Camavinga. And the six-times capped France star responded by liking the post.

Predictably, Arsenal supporters were quick to notice his acitivity and have since urged him to sign for the Gunners.

Romano, though, is adamant that Camavinga will stay with Real Madrid, having spoken with his agent Joshua Barnett.

CHELSEA AND BARCELONA WILLING TO SWAP PLAYERS

Chelsea and Barcelona may organise a sensational swap deal in the final week of the window, claims a report.

The Blues have once again been the window’s leading spenders, having already parted with a whopping £162m on six players.

However, it seems Graham Potter’s side are not yet done and there may well be room for one final addition.

Per reports, Potter is desperate to sign a new midfielder before the window closes. And while Brighton’s Moises Caicedo is his No 1 target, any deal for the Ecuadorian could set them back up to £75m.

As such, that deal may well be put on hold until the summer.

Franck Kessie Barcelona

In the meantime, reports in Spain claim a short-term answer is set to present itself.

And according to Sport, Chelsea are looking to swap Hakim Ziyech for Barcelona’s Franck Kessie.

The two players have endured frustrating seasons for similar reasons, with neither commanding regular football. Ziyech was a starter for the Blues in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Liverpool. However, Potter is seemingly willing to let him leave for the right price.

It’s a similar story for Kessie too, who joined Barca on a free transfer from AC Milan in the summer. He has struggled to catch Xavi’s eye, making just two starts in their 16 LaLiga games so far.

And he’s already been deemed surplus to requirements if the right offer comes in.

Now Sport reports that a loan exchange between both clubs could be on before the window closes.

The report, however, claims issues around Ziyech are complicated. That’s because both PSV and AC Milan are also reportedly keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
