£100m Bundesliga star prepared to make Man Utd, Liverpool wait

One Bundesliga star has admitted he is prepared to make a host of Premier League clubs wait before he leaves his current club.

Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has been linked with a big money move to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks.

The 20-year-old moved from Genk to Leverkusen for €13.5 million last summer and has scored nine times in 20 appearances in the Bundesliga, causing Europe’s elite to take note.

However, the Jamaica international – who was recently tipped for an England call-up due to his eligibility – is in no rush to make a big move.

“Leverkusen is perfect for me,” he told Bild. “I want to develop and then I can take the next step.

“When I move to a big club, the people there will want to know me. I want to make a name for myself at the highest level.”
