Leicester City defender Harry Maguire is convinced he will seal a move to Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

Maguire had a good season for Leicester in 2017/18, playing every match in their Premier League campaign before starring for England at the World Cup in Russia.

It is his confident performances in the Three Lions shirt that has seen his stock rise dramatically this summer as he was one of the country’s better performers at the tournament.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for Toby Alderweireld for most of the summer but with little movement on that deal they could look to Maguire.

The Daily Mail claims that Maguire is confident that he will be a United player before the start of the new season when the Foxes travel to Old Trafford on August 10.

Jose Mourinho confirmed yesterday he believes his squad is two players short after the signings of Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant so far in the transfer window.

The report continues by saying that Leicester value Maguire at around £50million with Mourinho thought to have a budget of £95million left to spend on the players he wants.
