Napoli are all set to listen to offers for Manchester United striker target Arkadiusz Milik, claims a report.
The Poland forward has been in discussions over a new deal in Naples, but talks have not gone smoothly and the 26-year-old could leave the Serie A club this summer
Tuttosport report that Napoli have not accepted Milik’s requests for his new contract. The report claims Milik, whose current contract expires in 2021, has asked for a raise to €5million per season net and a release clause not in excess of €50million.
Napoli have declined with Calciomercato claiming the Partenopei are waiting for offers from both LaLiga and the Premier League for the player.
Milik was believed to be a target for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in January, among others,
The Sun claims United made an approach for Milik and were looking towards a £60million deal, but the tabloid also claimed Solskjaer could wait to push for a deal in the summer.
Of course United went ahead and signed Odion Ighalo on a deal until the end of the season, but Solskjaer is still expected to step up his hunt for a new no.9, with Ighalo only a stop-gap signing.
Milik has scored 12 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, but he has had his fair share of injuries.
Calciomercato say Milik has missed 61 games for Napoli since his arrival in August 2016, suffering first from a cruciate ligament rupture and then a knee injury.
