Alexis Sanchez: Denied Real link

Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez has claimed he is “very happy” at The Emirates and rebuffed talk of a move to Real Madrid.

Sanchez, who has started to find his feet this season after his Copa America exploits has scored six goals for the Gunners this season, and was linked with the La Liga giants on Wednesday.

Sanchez, who scored in both of Chile’s recent World Cup qualifiers, himself has rubbished such claims however, stating that he is “very happy” at the Emirates and isn’t thinking about quitting the club after joining from Barcelona is the summer of 2014.

“I’m very happy at Arsenal, I don’t think about leaving,” he told reporters.

“I always want to be the best at everything I do. I’m never happy with what I do, I always want to give more,” he added.

Is it a coincidence that the Gunners are also believed to hoping to persuade the player to sign a lucrative new deal and then he is linked to one of the biggest club’s in the world?

Or is it his agent work overtime to get Sanchez a big raise on his £130,000 a week Emirates deal?
