Tanguy Ndombele has been ruled out of Tottenham’s north London derby with Arsenal, while several other stars are also out.
The club’s record signing has a thigh problem and is not fit to play at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
There are big problems at right-back as Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters are out and possible makeshift replacement Eric Dier is a major doubt.
Ryan Sessegnon is still working his way back from a hastrong injury, but Dele Alli could return to the bench after overcoming his injury issues.
The biggest issue for Spurs ahead of the game will now be who lines up at right-back, especially with Serge Aurier looking all set to leave before Monday’s European transfer deadline.
Danny Rose could be asked to switch there, with Ben Davies coming it at left-back, although Toby Alderweireld has also played there for Belgium and may be asked to do so for Spurs.
That could mean a recall for Jan Vertonghen, who has yet to make an appearance this season after a fall out with Mauricio Pochettino, and has been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
