AC Milan lead Serie A trio in race to sign Arsenal midfield star

AC Milan are leading the chase to sign an out-of-contract Arsenal midfielder in the summer, according to a report.

The Sunday Express claims that the Rossoneri are eyeing a possible move for Gunners star Jack Wilshere in the summer.

The England international has an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium, with his contract expiring in the summer and no sign of a new deal being penned.

Reports have suggested that Arsenal want to cut the wages of the 26-year-old, something which may force him out of the club.

The report states that AC Milan are leading a trio of Serie A sides all interested in Wilshere, with Juventus and Sampdoria in the running too.

Samp were linked with a swoop for the Stevenage-born midfielder last summer but failed to strike a deal with Arsenal.
