Adama Traore congratulated Liverpool on winning the Premier League title after earning high praise from Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp’s men came away from Molineux with a 2-1 win and all three points after an enthralling game at Molineux in which Traore had starred in.
His blistering pace was a problem for Andrew Robertson all night and he laid on the equaliser for Raul Jimenez in a brilliant second half display.
Liverpool though came out on top through Roberto Firmino’s late winner to dent Wolves’ hopes of closing the gap on the top four.
Afterwards the powerful Traore said the Reds were the “best team in Europe” and heading for the title.
Traore told BT Sport: “We don’t forget they are a great team, an amazing team and one of the best – or the best in Europe.
“Congratulations to them, how they are going in the league but we fight. We will fight to the end.”
Klopp, who watched Takumi Minamino star against his side before signing him this month, labelled the winger “unplayable”.
Klopp told BBC Sport: “He is unplayable in moments, it’s unbelievable.
“What a player – it’s not only him but he’s so good.”
Traore admitted his side were disappointed not to close the gap on Chelsea.
Traore added: “The team did well today. We worked hard throughout the game.
“Sad we didn’t get the win or the draw but we have to keep pushing, working and taking the positive things, fight to the end.
“He said we have to keep going, not concede, keep pushing, keep fighting for each ball. So that’s what we did. We went 100%.
“Me and Raul Jimenez had different roles today. We worked so hard today.
“Disappointed not to take points but we take the experience.”
