Adnan Januzaj: Back with Man Utd

Adnan Januzaj’s agent has defended the Manchester United youngster over claims made by Enzo Scifo that the Belgian star has a ‘bad state of mind’.

Former Belgium midfielder Scifo questioned the 20-year-old’s motivation after reports he turned down a call-up to the Belgium Under-21 squad last week.

But Januzaj’s agent, Dirk De Vriese, has insisted there is no problem with the midfielder’s attitude.

And De Vriese also insists the player will make his loan move to Borussia Dortmund a success, despite the player’s failure to start a match in the Bundesliga.

Speaking to Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure, De Vriese said: “There is no question of a bad state of mind.

“Adnan focuses on his work and we plan the rest. Do not point the finger.

“(Borussia Dortmund) are doing well and is a real machine. The current Dortmund is one of the best teams in Europe.

“Remember that Adnan did not have pre-season with them. Dortmund have given him time to adapt and we must do the same.

“When Gundogan and Lewandowski arrived they were there all the way through the pre-season period and took six months to find their rhythm.”
