Jorginho’s agent has refused to rule out a transfer back to Italy for his client.
The Chelsea midfielder has only been at Stamford Bridge for 11 months but the 27-year-old, who chose the Blues over Man City, last summer is open to following Maurizio Sarri to Juventus – just as he did last summer when he left Naples for London.
Sarri will be officially presented as Juventus’ new coach this morning and already the Italian has been linked with making moves for Chelsea pair Gonzalo Higuain and Emerson Palmieri.
Chelsea, with a two-window transfer ban in place, will not be keen on losing another first-team regular after the departure of Eden Hazard.
Central midfielder Cesc Fabregas also lest last season and Jorginho’s agent has done little to convince the Blues board that the Italy international is committed to the five-year deal he penned last summer.
Jorginho’s representative Joao Santos told Tuttomercatoweb: “Chelsea have a four-year contract with the lad.
“We’ll wait a few days to figure out whether there is any truth in this interest mentioned in the papers.
“His past at Napoli won’t be an issue, because Jorginho is a professional. Right now, Jorginho is happy at Chelsea.
“He found a great atmosphere and we can’t really say that he’d like to go elsewhere, but anything can happen in the transfer market. We’ll wait and see…”
