The agent of Arsenal target Dennis Praet claims that a decision will be made on the midfielder’s future within the next few weeks.
Sampdoria star Praet has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey, with Unai Emery interested in a double swoop for the Belgian and his teammate Joachim Andersen.
However, Arsenal are not alone in their interest, as AC Milan are willing to reunite new coach Marco Giampaolo – who is set to arrive from Samp – with the impressive duo.
Now, Praet’s agent has said that everything will be resolved soon.
Martin Riha said: “Everybody knows what Giampaolo thinks of Dennis. For now, I can’t say anything else.
“AC Milan is an important brand, it’s a big name. But there are also other clubs that want to sign him, especially abroad, they’ve already shown their interest.”
Riha refused to confirm whether or not Arsenal had lodged an official bid, though.
“I can’t add anything else now, I think you can understand.
“Dennis is a complete footballer and he is ready to join a big club. There are many clubs interested, we’ll know everything in a few weeks.”
Praet himself seems keen on a move, recently revealing that Sampdoria had told him they would not stand in his way if he desired to join a top club.
Meanwhile, another story that links Samp, Milan and the Gunners claims that Lucas Torreira could also reunite with his old boss in an intriguing swap deal with the San Siro club. Read the full story here.
