Bags packed for Napoli star with club chief ready to sign off Everton deal

Allan Napoli

Napoli midfielder Allan is gearing up to make a move to Everton, with the Serie A club’s sporting director ready to finalise the move, according to reports.

Allan is allegedly a long-term target for Everton, given Carlo Ancelotti’s relationship with the Brazilian while at Napoli.

Indeed, reports claim Napoli are willing to sell up ahead of the new season. The Italian side are keen to raise funds after signing former Lille striker Victor Osimhen in a big-money deal.

According to Corrierre dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Allan’s heart remains set on a move to Goodison Park. His stance on his future has not changed and he is keen to reunite with Ancelotti in the Premier League.

What’s more, he reportedly has his “suitcase ready” as he gears up for the long-touted move to go through.

From Napoli’s end, Gazzetta dello Sport claims sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is willing to sit down and finalise the deal.

However, the source claims the negotiations are “not easy to solve”.

As well as Allan’s future, Kalidou Koulibaly is ready to move on from Naples. The Senegal international is a target for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, who wants to revamp his defence.

Giuntoli is also willing to finalise his move to the Etihad Stadium but “uncertainties” remain over both deals.

Everton boss Ancelotti also wants to revamp his side ahead of his first full season in charge of Everton. However, the Daily Star Sunday claimed the Italian has become frustrated at the lack of action.

The Toffees missed out on Tottenham-bound midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg earlier this month, while Arsenal are likely to beat Everton to Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

Indeed, Arsenal and Leeds are also allegedly keen.
