Arsenal fans have lambasted club legend Thierry Henry for his apparent role in Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United.
Sanchez completed his switch to Old Trafford on Monday night, with Gunners playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving in the opposite direction in a straight swap deal.
After his exit was confirmed, the Chile forward penned an emotional message to Arsenal fans after three-and-a-half years with at The Emirates.
In the post, he also commented on how he spoke to Gunners legend Henry about the move, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
“I remember today, a conversation I had with Henry, a historic Arsenal player, who changed club for the same reason and today is my turn,” he wrote.

Henry became Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer before moving to Barcelona in 2007, although he did have another short-term spell at the club and even has his own statue outside the satdium.
But it would appear that some Gunners fans are not too happy with Henry’s part on Sanchez’s departure, if Twitter is anything to go by.
Henry is a snake you know, he’s out here training Hazard at Belgium, milly rocking with Pogba and Martial and telling Alexis to leave. Fake legend
