Wissam Ben Yedder: Headed to Spain

Reports in France have suggested that Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder has a straight choice between Arsenal and Sevilla this summer.

According to Canal +, the Gunners have expressed a firm interest in the 25-year-old to challenge for the main striking role alongside his fellow compatriot Olivier Giroud.

The French media outlet believe that a deal be concluded quickly as both reported suitors look to bed in all their new players ahead of the new season.

Ben Yedder has scored 71 goals in all competitions for Toulouse since joining from UJA Alfortville in 2010, surpassing Andre-Pierre Gignac as their greatest-ever league scorer of the 21st century in 2014.

He has represented France at U21 level on three occasions.

Pundit Stan Collymore recently said that Arsenal need to make two more “wow” signing before the window closes or risk losing out on the top-four places.
