Arsenal, Liverpool target told he is free to leave PSG
Julian Draxler has reportedly been told that he is free to look for a new club after PSG said he can leave.
Draxler only moved to Paris in January from Wolfsburg for £30million, making 26 appearances for the French giants in the second half of the campaign.
But with the world-record arrival of Neymar, the German has been told by PSG boss Unai Emery that he is no longer needed, French newspaper L’Equipe claims.
Sky in Germany have supported those reports, adding that the player’s days ‘could already be counted’.
Emery is claimed to have told the 23-year-old that there is ‘no more room for him in the squad’, and that it is indeed a direct consequence of Neymar’s arrival.
Back in December, when Draxler was still with Wolfsburg, Arsenal were reported to be battling for his signature.
The Gunners are expected to once again hold an interest in the wide man, while Liverpool have also been suggested as a potential buyer.
