Arsenal could turn to Wolves star Willy Boly to ease their defensive woes, according to reports.
After club captain Laurent Koscielny waved goodbye to the club after a controversial transfer saga in the summer, Arsenal opted to make a surprise move for David Luiz from rivals Chelsea.
Somewhat predictably, 32-year-old Luiz has failed to convince in his short time at the Emirates Stadium so far, meaning that the club hierarchy are already looking for longer-term solutions.
According to the Sun, one name on their shortlist is Wolves centre-back Boly, 28, who has been a key figure for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in their rise from the Championship to the Europa League.
The report claims that Wolves are reluctant to sell the Frenchman, despite the chance to double the £10m they paid Porto for him in 2017.
Boly was the hero of Wolves’ Europa League win over Besiktas on Thursday by scoring a late goal, giving the club their first win on the continent in nearly 40 years.
