Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata: Could leave Man Utd if Jose Mourinho gets job

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini could be set to make a shock move to Arsenal, according to the latest reports.

French outlet Foot365 claims that the Gunners have entered the race for the Belgium international, who previously seemed destined to either renew with United or move to AC Milan.

Their report states that Arsenal are set to meet with Fellaini’s representatives this week to discuss a possible deal for the former Everton man, who has a contract which expires in July.

The 30-year-old midfielder moved to Old Trafford back in 2013, following manager David Moyes to Manchester from Everton in a £27.5m deal.

Fellaini is reportedly keen on settling his future prior to the World Cup in Russia, where he has been named in Belgium’s 23 man squad.

It is possible however that Fellaini is using Arsenal’s interest as leverage for a better deal with United, with previous reports suggesting Jose Mourinho is keen on keeping him.
