Arsenal told to pay €50m to beat Juventus in race for Atletico star

Arsenal have been told they must pay €50million if they want to sign an Atletico Madrid star, according to a report.

A report from Italian outlet Calciomercato.com claims that Atletico have slapped a hefty €50m price tag on Yannick Carrasco, amid interest from the Gunners and Juventus.

Juve could be without winger Juan Cuadrado for a while, and as a result they have apparently made contact with the LaLiga club over a possible deal.

The report claims that Atleti “would be open to sell the player on loan with obligation to buy”, but the price tag has put the Bianconeri off.

In addition, Arsenal’s signing of Henrikh Mkitaryan may prevent them from making an official bid, but their interest in the player is genuine.

The North Londoners have struck a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang too, according to various reports on Monday.
