Banished Ben Gibson heading home to Middlesbrough

Ben Gibson is to start training with former club Middlesbrough after being told he has no future at Burnley.
The 27-year-old central defender, who was called up by England in 2017, moved to Turf Moor in 2018 for £15million.
But injuries have beset his stay and he has featured in just one league game.
Gibson was left hugely frustrated that a move to Watford failed to materialise in the last few days of the transfer window, whilst Boro could not pursue their interest due to his wages which are over £40,000-a-week.
Boro club insiders have now confirmed to TEAMtalk that they have given the green light for Gibson to train with them – although he is not able to play for them.
Burnley had told Gibson to train with their Under-23 side but it is believed that have approved the plan for him to train with his hometown club.
Gibson has two years left on his current deal, but Burnley are desperate to move him on this summer.
