Barcelona have told one of their forwards that he must be patient and wait for his chance rather than force a move, a report claims.

Malcom only joined Barcelona in the summer, but has managed just 25 minutes of competitive action so far, and now it’s suggested his representatives are already trying to force a transfer away from the club.

Roma had agreed a deal to sign him from Bordeaux in the summer, and he was ready to fly to Italy before the French club accepted a last-minute higher bid from Barcelona instead.

Calciomercato and CalcioNews24 stated that Malcom’s representatives have made contact with Inter Milan to negotiate a deal.

It was also claimed that Malcom could his sights on the Premier League instead, having been linked with a host of English clubs in the past.

However, Mundo Deportivo now claim that Barcelona have told Malcom that he will not be allowed to leave the Nou Camp in January.

In addition, they claim that the Catalan giants have informed him he must be patient in his pursuit of a regular starting spot at the club.

Prior to his move to Barcelona, there were rumours of interest from Tottenham and Liverpool, while Fulham were also linked with an ambitious bid.
