Barcelona star Sergio Busquets is set to snub interest from PSG and sign a new deal to stay at the Nou Camp, according to reports.

Both Marca and Mundo Deportivo are reporting that the Spanish international has agreed a lucrative new contract with the Catalan giants.

Paris St-Germain were linked with a big-money move in the summer, however their interest has not yet amounted to anything.

Busquets only penned a five-year deal two years ago – worth £180k-a-week – and that had the option of a further two year extension.

Both reports suggest that the 30-year-old will see his wages increase, while an eye-watering £450m release clause is set to be inserted.

Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Busquets, with Pep Guardiola a known admirer of the player from his time at Barca.
