Barcelona will make Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet their first summer signing on July 1, according to report.
Sport claim Ernesto Valdverde has sealed a move for the French defender and the Catalans will pay €35million – Lenglet’s buyout clause with the La Liga club.
Lenglet, 23, who was interesting Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, will sign a five-year deal with the Spanish champions.
Earlier this month Mundo Deportivo claimed Lenglet had asked to be given three weeks to make his mind up on his future after being offered improved terms with Sevilla.
Lenglet has spent a year-and-a-half in Seville after joining from Nancy in his native France. He has been a regular ever since his arrival, making 73 appearances in all competitions.
Sport reports that Barca also hope to sign a central midfielder and a striker this summer after missing out on Antoine Griezmann.
