Big boost for Tottenham as Dembele signs new contract
Mousa Dembele has signed a new contract to keep him at Tottenham until the summer of 2019, the club has confirmed.
The Belgian, who looked to be on his way out this time last year, has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Dembele has been largely excellent this season and has been a regular in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-choice side this season.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder joined Spurs from Fulham in 2012. He has started 16 Premier League games for the north London club this season, scoring three league goals.
The Belgium international told the club’s official website: “I am very happy I’ve signed and I’m happy to be part of our future.
“The way we’re playing, the way the club is developing, everything is very good and everyone wants to be part of this team and this club.
“That’s why I’m proud to extend my contract.”
