Bordeaux attacker to snub Man Utd, Tottenham in favour of Arsenal

Bordeaux attacker Malcom has revealed that he would favour a move to Arsenal over their north London rivals Tottenham or Manchester United.

The attacking midfield star has been linked with a January switch to both London clubs, while Manchester United are also said to be keen on the player.

Indeed, recent reports have suggested that Jose Mourinho is ready to make a €45million move for the 20-year-old, although the French outfit are said to want more like €60million.

However, according to UOL, Malcom, who has scored seven Ligue 1 goals this season “prefers to join Arsenal over Tottenham. Both clubs have already met with his agents, but the Brazilian would rather ply his trade under the guidance of Arsène Wenger, if a deal was to be successfully negotiated.”

UOL further stated that the price will be lower, likely to be in the region of €50m, and that he will “certainly” quit Bordeaux in 2018.
