Borussia Dortmund will not sell Premier League target Jadon Sancho this month, according to Sky in Germany.
The England attacker is believed to be a target for a whole host of clubs with Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona all interested.
Dortmund though are adamant the 19-year-old will not leave this month and Sancho has no release clause in his deal, which expires in 2022.
The broadcaster claimed Borussia Dortmund think they would not be able to find a suitable replacement for Sancho this month.
Sancho is in the midst of a brilliant run of form and has scored seven goals and earned six assists in his last nine games.
But his future in Germany has been very much up in the air and it’s strongly speculated he could be looking to leave the Bundesliga giants in the summer.
In November Sancho was left out of the squad by Lucien Favre, who cited “a disciplinary measure” adding that “everything else will remain internal”.
Those reports upped a notch last month when the Independent claimed Sancho had been cleared to leave the Westfallonstadion in January after another show of ill-discipline saw him axed from the starting line-up of the Champions League clash against Barcelona.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, at the start of December, spoke about Sancho, he told the Liverpool Echo: “He’s a very good player. I have no clue where these kind of things are coming from, but it cannot come from us because we never speak about it.
“If we would be involved, nobody would know about it apart from a person who wouldn’t speak about it. There’s nothing to say.
“Cost? That’s one issue, 100 per cent that would be an issue. But there’s nothing to say about it.”
