Bradshaw to work on injury woes

The 18-goal striker has suffered hamstring issues all season which have forced him to miss 20 games.

Walsall have struggled for goals without him and he scored the equaliser in Saturday’s Sky Bet League One 1-1 draw with Crewe which all but guarantees the Saddlers’ safety.

And, ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Swindon, Bradshaw is ready to finally end the injury issues.

He told the Wolverhampton Express & Star: “I think I will probably have a couple of weeks break and then it is all about strengthening.

“We are going away, to Loughborough I think, to do all sorts of testing to try and nip it in the bud.

“It is not a major issue. It is not the actual hamstring muscle which is being damaged but the fascia so it is something which can be strengthened.

“Hopefully it will be sorted.

“It is something where we have found out what it is and have ways to prevent it using tape until the end of the season.

“The summer will be for strengthening and work on it.

“It is not fully confirmed but we are going to try and get to Loughborough, that is the plan.

“They have some facilities there which we are going to try and use and hopefully prevent this from happening again.”
