Jupp Heynckes has admitted that Bayern Munich are keen on a possible move for one reported Arsenal and Spurs target.

Bordeaux star Malcom has been attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs after a string of impressive performances in Ligue 1.

German outlet Bild claim that Arsenal had a 42m bid rejected during the January transfer window for the Brazilian.

The 20-year-old recently hinted that he will be at a different club for next season, revealing that Bordeaux have “promised” he can leave in the summer.

Bayern are one of the clubs who have also been linked with a move for Malcom, and their boss has confirmed he is a player who interests them.

“I do not know the player enough,” Heynckes admitted to Sport Bild.

“But he’s certainly in the focus of our scouting department, like many other players as well. [Sporting director] Hasan Salihamidzic has very clear ideas and is driving forward the plans for next season.

“He knows exactly who is in our sights and which players he would like to have. He has high quality players in mind.”
