When is Burnley v Watford?

Barring any health emergencies, the game is scheduled to take place on Thursday June 25.

What time does Burnley v Watford kick-off?

The game is scheduled for a 6pm kick-off and is one of two matches, the other being Southampton v Arsenal, in that time slot.

What is at stake?

There is no question that the game is considerably more important to Watford. The Hornets battled their way to a valuable point at home to Leicester in their first match since the restart, but still find themselves precariously embroiled in a tight relegation scrap.

Burnley can head into the game with considerably less urgency after a truly solid season in Lancashire. The Clarets are safely tucked up in mid-table, although boss Sean Dyche will not have given up on forcing their way into the Europa League picture either.

Where can I watch Burnley v Watford?

Sky Sports are broadcasting both 6pm matches on Thursday 25 simultaneously.

Is Burnley v Watford free-to-air?

Yes. The match has been chosen for free-to-air, so look for it on Sky One.

What is the team news?

Watford star man Gerard Deulofeu is still out with a serious knee injury and will likely be for the remainder of the season. Daryl Janmaat continues to struggle, also with a knee injury, and it is similarly unclear if he will be able to help the Hornets in the run-in.

Burnley have doubts over strikers Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood, who are struggling with hernia and Achilles injuries respectively.

What happened in the reverse match?

Watford suffered a second-half horror show at Vicarage Road back in November, losing 3-0 to Burnley despite going in level at the break.

What are the odds?

The bookies are struggling to separate the two teams for this one. Watford are the slight favourites, despite the two teams respective positions, at 13/8 with Burnley priced at 7/4. The draw can backed at 9/4.
