Bafetimbi Gomis: Swansea striker has scored winner in last two games against Manchester United

There could be incomings and outgoings on transfer deadline day at Swansea City as look to bolster their squad for a relegation fight.

The Swans are said to have made a £7million bid for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle and are waiting on that before the fate of Bafetimbi Gomis becomes clear. Newcastle United have been linked with the Frenchman, but having sold them Jonjo Shelvey already this window, the Swans are said to be reluctant to further strengthen a rival in the fight to avoid the drop.

Swansea are said to be keen to add a midfielder, with interest remaining in Reading’s Danny Williams, but a deal is said to be unlikely.

Eder is set to leave the Liberty Stadium following the recruitment of £8million striker Alberto Paloschi, with the Portuguese forward linked with Sporting Lisbon, Marseille and Wolves.

Swansea are also reported to have been offered the chance to sign former Manchester City forward Robinho, 32, on a free transfer.
