‘Can we talk about Pogba?’ Neville discusses Valencia struggle

Gary Neville admits he could have prepared better for his ill-fate spell as Valencia manager.
Valencia surprisingly appointed Neville in December 2015, with the revered pundit’s only previous experience coming as part of Roy Hodgson’s England set-up.
The 41-year-old former Manchester United stalwart was sacked within four months after winning only three out of 16 La Liga fixtures.
When asked about his experiences with Valencia, Neville replied: “Can we talk about Pogba?”
He continued: “I look back at what I could have done different myself initially at Valencia and managing abroad, the difficulties that I had, and how I could have done things differently.
“Decisions I could have made, maybe preparation that could have been done better. To actually prepare myself for not being able to speak the language, to integrate into a different culture.
“I think that was a sharp experience, a big experience for me.
“In terms of England it’s not a new experience – I’ve been to eight tournaments. Apart from one they’ve pretty much all had the same ending. That’s the disappointment with that one.”
