Absolutely true. You can’t blame, Bilic, you can’t blame the players who played for Bilic and are now trying to adapt to a different mindset, you can’t even blame Allardyce. You can blame the owner for not providing Slav with a transfer budget similar to almost all Prem clubs after he’d delivered promotion, then adding insult to injury getting rid of our best and most experienced defender behind his back. You can blame the senior management for getting rid of Slav and replacing him with a dinosaur who has just delivered probably the three worst home results in sequence in the club’s history. The strong probability of relegation under Bilic has become the racing certainty of relegation under Allardyce who so far, and notwithstanding Liverpool, is a worse appointment than Pardew. To evaluate Albion’s current position, they’re three points worse of than Bryan Robson’s team in 2004-5. Robson’s team had a good new year, winning 5 and drawing 8 of the last 18 games and avoided the drop on the last day with 34 points. This time they’d have to do better than that which I think we all agree they’re incapable of. I think our aims can only be to avoid Derby’s lowest ever points total, not finish bottom (Sheff U have an incredible 2 points so far) and begin planning seriously for the Championship. The latter part of this plan CANNOT include Allardyce.

I agree. Allardyce is as bad if not worse than Pardew. I venture to say that he has already ‘ lost the room ‘, as they say when the players tune-out their leader.

The trouble is at a higher level. And that is why the club must be sold to a new owner who will hire good people. Blackburn went through this. So did Portsmouth and Sunderland. Leeds struggled for a long time before getting in good football people.

A long term approach must be adopted and that starts with a new owner, as nobody who is any good would want to work for someone who gives them no money, with a bunch of idiots calling the shots.
