Moussa Dembele: Happy at Celtic

Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he is aware of the links between Celtic striker Moussa Dembele and the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.

The 20-year-old is being chased by a number of top European clubs following an impressive season in the SPL after joining Celtic from Fulham.

Chelsea reportedly had an offer of £20m rejected in January and it remains to be seen if the Premier League champions, or Arsenal, will test Rodgers’ resolve with a new bid.

“I counted the other day, Moussa has been linked with 10 clubs,” Rodgers revealed to The Express.

“It was Marseille the other day, I saw Arsenal the other week, there was Paris Saint-Germain, there was Chelsea so there is nothing in it from our perspective.

“I felt if he progressed the way we thought he’d progress and if he wanted to move any time it would be after the second year.

He went on to say that: “There is no rush from Moussa’s perspective. He is a player that we really want to keep and if anything (an offer) did come in we would assess it.”
