Badr El-Kaddouri returns to the Celtic squad after being cup-tied for the Europa League match against Rennes in France last night.

Peter Pawlett has been rated doubtful for the Dons.

Pawlett is struggling with a hamstring injury and could miss the clash at Parkhead.

Gary Hooper is back in the Celtic squad after recovering from a metatarsal injury while skipper Shaun Maloney, who withdrew from last week’s game against St Johnstone minutes before kick-off with a stomach bug, should be fit.

New signing Olivier Kapo will not be included while Daryl Murphy and James Forrest continue their recovery from ankle injuries.

Paul Hartley is expected to recover from illness in time to play for Aberdeen against his former club Celtic.

Andy Considine (knee) and Nikola Vujadinovic (hamstring) are still struggling and Peter Pawlett (broken toe) and long-term casualty Fraser Fyvie are out.
