Champions League club tipped to beat Serie A duo to Fabregas

Galatasaray are hoping to land Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas on a free transfer next summer, according to reports.

Fabregas is in the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, and having not featured in the Premier League this season, is likely to move on in the summer. According to Turkish source Sozcu, Galatasaray want to take advantage of the Spaniard’s situation by making him a lucrative offer when his contract expires.

Fabregas has also been linked with Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan, but the Turkish Super Lig champions are hopeful of tempting the ex-Barcelona and Arsenal man.

However, the 31-year-old recently claimed he was happy at Chelsea and would be open to signing a new contract if offered.

“I’d love to stay at the club. I’ve been very happy for the last four years and a half, we’ve had great success, won many things,” he said.

“I feel I still have a lot of football left in me but it is now up to the club.”

Fabregas has recorded 21 goals and 55 assists in 186 appearances for Chelsea since joining in 2014.
