Chelsea boss Sarri reveals intentions for next season amid Roma links

Maurizio Sarri has admitted that he is not sure whether he will still be in charge at Chelsea next season amid rumours he could be sacked.

Sarri arrived from Napoli last summer but has drawn plenty of criticism for his tactical stubbornness despite relative success.

The Italian has guided the Blues to a top-four finish in the Premier League, and they have the chance to win the Europa League in Baku later this month.

Sarri has admitted that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge but has refused to offer any assurances amid links with the Roma job.

“I think so (whether he will stay), but I am not sure. I can say only that the club asked me for the Champions League, and we reached the target,” Sarri told reporters.

“As you know very well, I love English football. I love the Premier League; it’s fantastic and the level is the best in the world, I think. The atmosphere in the stadiums is wonderful. I would like very much to stay here.”
