Chelsea leading the race to sign Real Madrid starlet

Chelsea are leading the race to sign Real Madrid’s talented starlet Marcos Llorente, according to reports.
The Daily Star claim that Antonio Conte is “desperate” to spend money before the transfer window closes, in particular to address the hole left by the departure of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United.
The Blues apparently see Llorente as the ideal replacement for the Serbia international and are eyeing a late assault.
The Spain U21 international impressed during a loan spell at Deportivo Alaves last season, however he is firmly down Zinedine Zidane’s pecking order and may look for new pastures as a result.
Pundit Miguel Ángel Díaz on Cope’s El Partidazo revealed: “Marcos Llorente, who is one of the pearls of Real Madrid and who played on loan at Alaves last year, has had around 35 teams that have been interested in him, including Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.”
