Chelsea target Miralem Pjanic is set to sign a new contract to stay at Juventus, according to reports.
Bosnian international Pjanic has been heavily linked with a move away from Turin, with Chelsea one of the front-runners for his signature.
However, Calciomercato claim that he is set to accept Juventus’ offer of a new contract, which comes as a blow for the likes of Manchester City, Barcelona and PSG, who were all tracking him.
Pjanic’s agent Fali Ramadani has been trying to secure a move for the 28-year-old, but it is believed that Pjanic’s desire is to stay with the Serie A giants. He will earn €6.5m-per-year in his new deal.
The news comes as another blow for Chelsea and Man City, who have both missed out on midfield targets this summer. Chelsea beat City to the capture of Jorginho, but the London side failed to win the race for Aleksandr Golovin, who signed for Monaco instead.
