Chelsea will make an effort to sign Leon Bailey from Leverkusen next summer, a report claims.
Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine Bailey claimed Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool had all approached his agent in recent years.
The 21-year-old scored 13 goals and seven assists in 58 appearances for Bayer since transferring to the Bundesliga outfit from Genk in 2017.
Bailey only renewed his contract until 2023 in August and is rated in the €60m bracket by the German club, but is apparently attracting interest from England.
The Mail on Sunday believe that Chelsea are the keenest of the Premier League clubs and are preparing a huge £80million bid next summer.
The Blues need to find a replacement for Eden Hazard who confirmed his move to Real Madrid on Friday, and despite the arrival of Christian Pulisic Chelsea are looking for an upgrade on the ageing Pedro.
The west London club are also apparently tracking Ajax star David Neres, who is wantedby Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool.
