Cherries stun Swans~with late win

admin

All seemed rosy for the Swans when Andy Robinson put them ahead in the 51st minute and with the news that Doncaster were losing at Huddersfield automatic promotion was there for the taking.

But Rovers hit back to earn a point – although it mattered little on the day for the Swans as, after Cherries keeper David Forde had made three superb stops to prevent Swansea going further ahead, Kevin Bond’s side equalised through sub Joe Partington.

He had only been on the field for two minutes when the home defence failed to clear an 89th-minute corner and he bustled through to head home.

Swansea’s defence fell asleep again in the first minute of added time and Jo Kuffour tapped home from point-blank range.
