Christian Eriksen delivers emphatic response to private life rumours
Tottenham superstar Christian Eriksen has met false accusations surrounding his private life head-on, calling them “bulls**t” in a tweet from his official account.
The playmaker has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent times, with the latest report suggesting a move to Premier League rivals Manchester United may be on the cards in January if Daniel Levy wishes to recoup a fee for the soon-to-be-free agent.
His performances on the field have noticeably dipped below his usual excellent standard, however, with the Dane enduring a difficult end to the 2018-19 campaign, and faring little better this term.
Spurs’ 7-2 humbling at the hands of Bayern Munich last night appears to have aggravated the feeling of tension at White Hart Lane, with the usually-reserved Eriksen now taking to social media to shoot down the false accusations regarding he and his partner’s private life.

The rumours (which we shall not name but have been widely circulated) were also met with short shrift by fellow Spurs pro Jan Vertonghen.
