Mauricio Pochettino TEAMtalk

Christian Eriksen is a doubt for Tottenham’s clash with Watford after picking up a dead leg on international duty.

The Dane will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s vital game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as Spurs look to end a shocking run of results.

Hugo Lloris (arm) is out for the rest of 2019, but Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon have returned to full training.

Pochettino, meanwhile, does not agree with the view that Spurs need to change the squad in January.

“I don’t believe. I believe in the players we have that are in Tottenham today. I respect the opinion of people who say we need to change,” Pochettino added.

“But if it is my decision, I am going to stick with the players because they have quality.”
