Dennis Gyamfi is heading on trial to Belgium after refusing to sign a new contract at Leicester City.
The 18-year-old right-back has subsequently left the midlands club as a free agent.
The Foxes though will be due compensation should he join another English club.
And two Premier League giants are chasing the Dutch-born Ghanaian, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Het Laatste Nieuws reports that Arsenal and Manchester United are potential candidates for the talented defender.
However, they will have to move quickly because the teenager will undergo a trial with Cercle Brugge in the “coming days”.
Rangers and Schalke 04 are also keen on Gyamfi, but the Jupiler League side have the upper hand. They could push through a deal imminently if the player impresses on trial.
Brendan Rodgers had promoted Gyamfi to his first-team squad when City returned to training after the coronavirus lockdown.
Leicester were eager to retain the services of the player and the Leicester Mercury claimed they were “stunned” when they were told he would not be signing a new, improved deal.
Rangers were very keen on the player after Steven Gerrard was recommended the player by Brendan Rogers and Kolo Toure, according to Graphic Sports Online.
However, no headway has been made regarding a transfer and Cercle Brugge are at the head of the queue.
Gyamfi made nine appearances for Leicester’s U18 side last season and featured once for their U23 side.
