Di Canio questions quality of ex Liverpool, Sunderland star Borini

Former Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio has claimed that ex-Liverpool man Fabio Borini is only good enough for a team fighting relegation.
Borini and Di Canio worked together during their time at Sunderland, and the Italian boss said he would welcome a reunion with his former player.
AC Milan brought in a host of new players this summer including the likes of Ricardo Rodriguez, Andre Silva and Leonardo Bonucci.
They raised a few eyebrows with the signing of Borini, and now Di Canio has questioned the quality of the 26-year-old.
“Fabio is a player that I know pretty well since we worked together at Sunderland. He was with me and I would want him with me in other clubs too,” Di Canio said.
“Having said this, it would have to be a lower end club who is fighting in the relegation zone. He is a player that works hard but you can’t ask him for too much quality either.
“At Sunderland we were fighting in the relegation zone where as now he is a starter with AC Milan.”
