Dickinson is pushing for a start after impressing as a substitute in last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at Swindon, which left the Seagulls in the League One relegation zone.

Goalkeeper Michel Kuipers is fit again after a groin injury but Poyet is set to stick with Peter Brezovan between the posts.

Former Stockport midfielder Gary Dicker is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season last weekend.

Defender Colin Hawkins is the only injury absentee due to an ongoing heel problem as Poyet looks for a much-needed three points which could see his side leapfrog opponents Orient.

The match kicks off at 1pm.
