Doyle signed for the Hatters on a free transfer from Bradford in September on a deal that ran until the end of the current campaign. But the club have decided to exercise an extension clause to prolong the midfielder’s stay at Kenilworth Road.
The former Hull and Barnsley man has made 27 appearances in League Two this season and has been a key member of the squad that has helped Luton to within one point of the play-offs.
The Hatters have also extended the contract of teenage striker Zane Banton. The 18-year-old’s deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, but he is now staying until the summer of 2016.
Banton is currently on loan at Hemel Hempstead.
