He will be joined in the stands by Darren Dods (knee), Scott Severin (ankle) and Mihael Kovacevic (knee).
Garry Kenneth is available for a final game before starting a suspension next week.
Rangers manager Walter Smith expects to name a similar squad to the one who faced Manchester United in midweek for the trip tothe Terrors.
James Beattie will remain in the squad after returning from injury to take his place on the bench for the Champions League game.
But Smith does not expect any other players to return, meaning Sasa Papac, Madjid Bougherra, Maurice Edu and Kyle Lafferty are set to remain on the sidelines.
