Emery and Arsenal start 2019/20 Prem campaign with Newcastle trip

Arsenal will open the 2019/20 season with a clash against Newcastle at St James’ Park on Sunday 11 August.

Unai Emery’s side, who finished just outside the top four in the season just finished, will be hoping to go one better this time around.

Following their opening match, the Gunners will then face a match against Burnley at home before tackling Liverpool at Anfield.

Arsenal face arch-rivals Tottenham on 31 August and April 25, while their Festive programme pit them against Bournemouth on Boxing Day and Manchester United on New Year’s Day.

The season ends for Emery’s side with matches against Liverpool (h), Aston Villa (a) and Watford (h).
